ПЕРВОМАЙСКИЕ ЛОЗУНГИ В СОВЕТСКОЙ РОССИИ (1918 - 1943)
The present paper deals with May Day slogans in Soviet Russia
(1918-1943). The authors of the article prove that slogans are a sort of manual
which helps the public to interpret the policy of the Communist party. Being
authoritative, sated with key political symbols and widely spread, slogans turn
out to be one of the im-portant means of modern political communication. The
article argues that changes in the policy of the Communist government cause
essential changes in the content of slogans. Examples from the research illustrate
this position. The authors give major factors explaining these transformations,
defining eleven categories for classification of key symbols frequently used
in May Day slogans.
